Data Deletion Instructions
How to delete your Crosbird account and request removal of your personal data.
Delete Your Account (In-App)
Open the Crosbird App
Launch the Crosbird app on your mobile device and ensure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.
Navigate to Settings
Tap on your profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then tap the gear icon (⚙️) to open Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security
In the Settings menu, tap on "Privacy & Security" under the Privacy Controls section.
Tap "Delete My Account"
Under Privacy Controls, tap the red "Delete My Account" button. A confirmation dialog will appear.
Confirm Deletion
Read the warning message and tap "Delete" to confirm. Your deletion request will be submitted.

Profile → Settings (⚙️) → Privacy & Security → Delete My Account → Confirm
What Happens After You Request Deletion
30-Day Retention Period
Per GDPR requirements, your account enters a 30-day soft deletion period. During this time, your account is deactivated but not permanently erased.
Cancellation Option
You can cancel the deletion request within 30 days by contacting privacy@crosbird.com with your registered email address.
Permanent Deletion
After 30 days, your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems. This action is irreversible.
Confirmation Email
You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion request is submitted, and another notification when your data has been permanently deleted.

Account Data
- • Campaign history
- • Proposals and contracts
- • Messages and conversations
- • Reviews and ratings
Financial Data
- • Payment method details
- • Transaction history
- • Payout settings
- • Invoice records
Usage Data
- • Activity logs
- • Preferences and settings
- • Search history
- • Analytics data
Note: Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., financial records required by tax regulations) or to resolve disputes, even after account deletion.
Can't Access Your Account?
If you cannot access the app or have forgotten your login credentials, you can request account deletion by email:
Email: privacy@crosbird.com
Subject Line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include: Your registered email address and any information to help verify your identity.
We will respond within 5 business days and process verified requests within 30 days.
Export Your Data Before Deleting
Before deleting your account, you may want to download a copy of your data. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Data Access Requestto request a full export of your information. The export will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours.
